Spring Cleaning with your Congressman

Congressman Hakeem Jeffries will be at Holy Family Church for a community Spring Cleaning Session. Community members can bring their old papers out to be shredded securely. While having your private papers securely shredded you will also be able to pick up some free PPE items to help keep you safe from exposure to COVID-19.

"Shreddersaurus on overdrive"

In the October 8, 2020 edition of the newspaper, The Smithtown News, there’s an article about the Town of Smithtown’s bi-annual shredding event. The event occurred on September 26, 2020. According to the article it was the town’s largest shredding event to date with over 32,000 pounds (16 tons) of paper shredded on behalf of the town’s residents. The Shreddersaurus truck barely broke a sweat destroying and making extinct all those confidential records! Thank you to the Town of Smithtown for providing this service to its residents and The Smithtown News for reporting and bringing awareness of the service to the town residents!
